Here is the damaged rear end of a Lexus IS200. It has sustained a large dent to the rear quarter panel that  has also affected the rear bumper alignment and deep scraping to the rear bumper. It has been left for a few months like this so some surface corrosion has started to take place.

First the car is tented up, then the light removed and the bumper dropped down. The dent is then pushed out and the edge straightened to allow correct alignment of the bumper again.

The panel is first grinded down to completely remove any surface corrosion, the whole area is then sanded and filled ready for reshaping.

The area is then sanded back into the correct shape over numerous stages, and then primed and sanded ready for painting.

The area is thoroughly cleaned and masked off and painted. The paint is faded out along the bumper to achieve an invisible blend into the original paintwork, the same is also done on the rear quarter panel, using the body line to blend out on.

Finally the paint is baked off and compounded to give a finish as good as the original paintwork.
